When the Building Didn’t Hold, We Did

Most folks know K&D Equestrian because our products last.

Buckets that don’t crack. Feeders that don’t fold. Gear that holds up in real barns with real horses and real weather.

What most folks don’t see is the building those products come out of.

Last week, severe weather caused a structural failure at one of our buildings. Plain and simple, part of it came down. I want to be clear about the most important thing first: everyone is safe. That matters more than anything else.

The less comfortable part to say is this: when a building goes down, it affects production.

Right now, we’re cleaning up, rerouting work, and stabilizing operations. Orders are still moving. Products are still being made. But shipping is slower than usual while we get everything back on solid ground.

I won’t sugarcoat that. If you’re waiting on an order, it may take a little longer than normal.

What I will say is this: we’re here, we’re working, and we’re not cutting corners to “catch up.” K&D has never been about rushing product out the door. It’s about building things the right way and standing behind them when life throws a curveball.

If anything, this experience reinforced something we’ve always believed. Our gear is built tougher than the buildings it comes out of. That’s not a slogan. That’s just the truth of how we design, test, and use what we sell.

We appreciate your patience. We appreciate your trust. And we don’t take either lightly.

We’ll keep you informed, and we’ll say it plainly when we’re fully back to normal.

Until then, thank you for sticking with us.
