At K&D Equestrian, leadership is not something you inherit on paper. You earn it in the dirt, in the weather, and in the day to day work that built the ranch in the first place. Russell Fomby II came up that way.

As the third generation helping carry K&D forward, Russell is not standing off to the side trying to preserve a name. He is living the job. Raised on the legendary F-Bar Ranch in Gainesville, Texas, he grew up around horses, hard-use equipment, and the kind of expectations that do not care much about titles. Things either hold up or they do not. That standard stuck.

Today, Russell represents the next chapter of K&D with the same practical mindset that shaped the brand from the beginning. He understands where it came from, what real horsemen actually need, and why trust is built one useful product at a time. Around here, that means gear that earns its place in the barn, not just on a shelf.

He brings tradition with him, but not as decoration. He brings it as a filter. Every feeder, bucket, brush, and tool still has to make sense for real use, under real conditions, with no room for fluff. That blend of respect for the past and clarity about what works now is exactly what keeps K&D moving in the right direction.
