Do not assume a feed container is compatible with a coating, solvent or resin. Check the material and the chemical manufacturer’s container requirements first; if compatibility is unknown, use a purpose-made container. Equipment used with these materials should remain separate from animal feed, drinking water and human food.
Garden projects need their own checks
Before repurposing a tub as a planter, consider drainage, the filled weight, support and material suitability for the intended use. Do not drill an animal feeder while expecting it to retain its original function or unchanged coverage. Ask K&D about modifications before making them.
