The K&D Platinum Bucket Promise
Clear coverage. No registration. No vague “virtually indestructible” fine print.
What K&D promises
If the body of an eligible KD-120 Platinum Line bucket cracks or splits, or its one-piece reinforced handle ring pulls through, during normal barn use, K&D will repair or replace the bucket for the original purchaser.
Normal barn use includes
- Feed and water use in stalls, trailers, wash racks, and around the barn
- Ordinary drops, bumps, kicks, and horse stomps
- Normal outdoor temperature swings and freezing barn conditions
- Carrying loads within the bucket’s intended capacity
What is not covered
- Fire, extreme heat, mower damage, or vehicle and machinery damage
- Intentional cutting, drilling, alteration, or deliberate destruction
- Damage from harsh solvents, chemicals, or uses outside normal barn work
- Loss, theft, resale purchases, ordinary scuffs, staining, fading, or other cosmetic wear that does not stop the bucket from working
- Handle damage caused by unsafe mounting, sharp hardware, or exceeding the intended load
About the run-over video: it is a strength demonstration showing how the tested item performed. It is not an invitation to recreate the test and does not make vehicle damage a covered use.
How to make a claim
- Contact K&D with your name and proof of purchase or order information.
- Send clear photos of the full bucket and the damaged area.
- K&D will review the claim and arrange repair or replacement when covered.
No product registration is required. K&D may ask for the damaged product to be returned. The remedy under this promise is repair or replacement at K&D’s option; standard replacement shipping within the contiguous United States is included for approved claims.
Why this promise is different
A guarantee should tell you what is covered before something goes wrong. K&D pairs plain terms with construction you can inspect and strength demonstrations you can watch. A heavier bucket is not automatically a better bucket; the better bucket is the one whose material, reinforcement, horse-aware details, proof, and support all work together.
