Build a color system that people can follow

By horse

Assign each horse a color, then label the bucket and equipment with the horse’s name. Use both the name and color so helpers do not have to guess.

By job

Separate water, feeding and cleanup equipment by a consistent system. Keep written instructions beside the tools; color is a cue, not the whole instruction.

By location

Give the trailer, wash rack or barn row its own equipment group. Keep the color key where the people doing chores can see it.

Matching a set? Check all the pieces first.

  1. Choose the exact models needed for the job.
  2. Check that each model lists your chosen color; the whole range does not share one universal palette.
  3. Compare the current product photographs and read the option name carefully.
  4. For a close match to existing equipment, ask K&D before ordering and include photos in natural light.

Mixed color and Ranch Pick options

If matching matters, select a named color. “Best Value Mixed Color” and “Ranch Pick Color” are separate options for orders where a specific shade is not the priority. Read the selected option’s terms on the product page.

Colors and finishes worth distinguishing

Names you may see How to choose
Royal Blue and Navy They are separate option names. Navy appears on selected storage products; do not treat it as Royal Blue.
John Deere Green and Lime Green Distinct greens; verify which one each model offers.
Purple and Sparkle Purple The sparkle option has a different finish and appears only on selected models.
Teal and Sparkle Teal Treat the sparkle finish as its own option rather than assuming an exact finish match.
Blue on the KD-127 Tote All The tote uses the option name Blue. Do not assume it is an exact Royal Blue match.

Color questions

Are these exact production colors?

No. Screen settings, light, material, surface finish, age and production runs can change appearance. Use the named option and current product photos; contact K&D if a precise match is essential.

Does a color link mean it is in stock?

No. It identifies a listed color option, not a live stock promise. Review the product page and selected variant before ordering.

Why can’t I find a color on every product?

Products have different color ranges. White, neutrals and sparkle finishes are offered on selected models, so a complete matching set may need a different color choice.

Can dealers use the chart?

Yes, for color names and model planning. These links lead to retail product pages; use your dealer account and approved ordering route for wholesale orders.
