K&D is an American family-owned company with roots in Thoroughbred barns and toolmaking. When a product is represented as Made in USA, the claim appears on that product’s page.
The Story Starts With an American Toolmaker
K&D began around Thoroughbred racehorse barns in Texas and New Mexico. When existing equipment failed, Ken Fomby brought a toolmaker’s eye to the problem: study the weak point, improve the mold and build the shape around real barn use.
That American design and tooling tradition continues through the family-owned F-Bar Ranch in Gainesville, Texas, where products remain close to the horses, chores and customers they serve.
