Choose a feed scoop, portable bucket or fixed feeder
For scooping, compare the KD-166 1-quart and KD-119 2-quart sizes. For feeding, match the container to a portable, wall-mounted or ground setup. A scoop measures volume, not feed weight.
Race barns run on repeatable routines. Morning feed, supplements, evening feed, cleanup—then do it again. K&D grew from that working environment, where useful feed-room equipment has to be simple to grab, simple to clean and appropriately sized for the job.
- Small portions and supplements: choose the KD-166 1-Quart Feed Scoop.
- Grain and pellets: choose the KD-119 2-Quart Feed Scoop.
- Ground feeding: choose the stable KD-173 Ground Feeder.
- Wall or fence mounting: choose the compact KD-153 6-Quart Feeder for suitable small-livestock and barn applications.
Use a scale when exact feed weight matters—a scoop measures volume, and the weight of a full scoop varies by feed. For tubs, feed-saver rings and larger horse-feeding stations, shop the Horse Feeding Gear collection.
Need a horse feed bucket or larger tub?
- KD-120E 18-quart flat-back bucket: portable feed or water chores.
- KD-121 28-quart wall-mount feed tub: a fixed feeding station with three included U-bolts and reinforcing backer plates.
- KD-168 pan feeder: a freestanding feeding option.
Check the product page for mounting requirements and current options. Container capacity is not a recommended meal size. Weigh feed and follow the horse’s feeding plan.
